Can I tell you how my 15 year old warms my heart and can put my guilty feelings to rest and he doesnt even know I was felling that way. Today was Mitchells 15th birthday and in our old house I had cabinets that I always wrote out Happy Birthday to whoever was the birthday person. Well the October birthdays didnt get a sign because I just couldnt decide where they should go. I put them on my pantry doors and Mitch noticed right away and said he loved his sign. Warm heart number one. Number two moment is when I told him it was time for bed he announced that this was the best birthday ever. I wanted to cry, I was only able to get him one present and I had to overdraft my moms bank account to even get it. I felt so bad that I could only get that one thing but apparently it made Mitchells day. He is sleeping with the largest nerf gun I have ever seen. Even my older boys are amazed at the size of this nerf gun and its screaming bullets...lol...I never realized just how easy to please he was. I hope and pray that next year I can make up the lack of gifts on all my kids birthdays. Poor Zachary didnt even get a gift this year, I had to get rent together so his birthday gift went to the rent. Yep went to be that night feeling like a loser mom. I cant wait util Ub gets back to work and we can make up birthdays that they were slighted because we simply didnt have it. Thanks for letting me rant and get the guilt off my chest.
