Can anyone who has done the exemption process in Colorado or Missouri share their experiences, Two of our members could us a little help Amanda: Okay I need your help! I am trying to get my daughter enrolled and they told me that they couldnt accept the exemption that I had printed out from the State of Missouris Health Department website and filled out. They told me that I had to get one from the county Health apartment, then when I went up to the Health Department today she said that I had to have an appointment to get a religious exemption, something about this sounds a little fishy to me. Is it illegal for them to refuse a religious exemption that is from the Health Departments website!? I need help! I am writing you because I am getting ready to set up an appointment to sign my son up for a local public school. I live in Pennsylvania (if there are different laws for vaccinating). I have an exemption form and I am told by my doctor that I need to write a letter stating why I am choosing not to have my son vaccinated. Im feeling overwhelmed because I want to say the right thing so that they dont harass me or discredit me. What would be the most respectful and simple way to say no? Please help!
