Can not believe this new tax the government have introduced this morning. They have just come up with the idea of a piri piri tax to rake in that little bit extra. The new tax at a rate of 1 euro will be applied to every serving of chicken piri piri sold in Portugal. There is even talk for taking nados to court the government claim that as piri piri is a national dish the tax should also be applied to piri piri served in other member states.
