Can someone please tell me why I cannot find a medical based position in Kalamazoo or Battle Creek or Grand Rapids unless I receive a certified nursing license when I have well over twenty years medical experience with “four” ambulance services, two hospitals, medical based education, volunteer and paid life rehabilitation skills and experience, medical experience with movie, musical and television commercial production experience, sporting event ranging from camps up to professional sporting events. by the way; this is the job description for a certified nursing license : Daily Responsibilities of CNAs “Administer medications or treatments, such as catheterizations, suppositories, irrigations, enemas, massages, or douches, as directed by a physician or nurse.” “Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, examination rooms, or other patient areas.” “Document or otherwise report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.” “Apply clean dressings, slings, stockings, or support bandages, under direction of nurse or physician.” just asking HR REPRESENTATIVE for Bronson and Borgess hospital’s.
