Can you help? 3rd Banstead Scout Group are looking for leaders for their Beaver Colonies, Cub Packs and Scout Groups. They are based at Scout Ridge, opposite Banstead Railway Station. The Scout movement are a very active bunch and not only can you build great friendships but also gain amazing experiences like trips to the Somme. The 3rd Banstead Scout Group has grown rapidly over the past few years and due to this they have extended space at the ridge, however, they still cannot offer spaces to all the children that wish to join and sometimes struggle to put on some activities due to a shortage in leaders. They are currently looking for help from anyone that can spare a few hours, days etc (subject to a CRB check). The nights that they operate are the following: Beavers: Monday 4pm to 5.30pm and Thursdays 4:30pm to 6pm Cubs: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6:30pm to 8pm Scouts: Monday and Friday 7pm to 9pm.
