Can you help Amy? My husband and I have a 1 year old yellow lab, Tek. In the past few months he has started to attack us. At first it was just my husband, but a few times me too. It usually starts with him running around the house crazy and ends with him jumping up and biting us, growling. We had his trainer come over and although he didnt see it in person, said it sounded like he was rough housing like we were equals/dogs. He suggested we keep him on his leash/collar when he is out of his crate so we can stop the behavior and correct him, which we do. For a while, he didnt do it and we thought it was over with but in the past few days he has done it more. He doesnt bite and break skin, but it still hurts! And its impossible I catch his leash to try and stop him because he jumps at us growling. Its scary, whether its play or not. We have a 6 month old baby and Im petrified hell do it to him once he starts crawling/walking. It seems like when he doesnt want to do something (usually go in his crate for bed) he goes wild, and it ends with this behavior. Or when we tell him no to something. Any advice???
