Can you help Sam? I wondered if you could be any help please. My cakes (not cup cakes) always seem to come out crispy and over cooked around the edge, but if I take out before the centre wont cook. I use an equal measure recipe, weigh eggs and add same weight butter etc. The oven is 170. And I have just bought an oven thermometer and the oven is heating great. Any suggestions would be greatly received Over to you CakeBakers!
