Can you imagine just how low Toronto media has reached when CBC has released a story about how a Mayor Rob Ford staffer placed several phone calls over a year period to Rob and Doug Fords radio show on CFRB. the interesting point is that the calls were made before Dave Price was employed by the mayor and the calls were stopped immediately when he began to work for the mayor. Now another truth is that especially when you host a call in show especially at the beginning of it run the host will invite absolutely everyone he knows to call in.. there is nothing more that add to a quick demise of a call in radio show than no callers or dead air. I know hosts that would call and beg friends and acquaintances to call their show. Another low point in journalism here in Toronto. Mayor Ford has proven himself as a fighter, something that is a bonus for a public servant. Keep your course Rob, the strong majority is behind you!! to the Star, CBC,National Post and other news outlets that embarrassed themselves during the past few months,I thank you for the job well done in ensuring Mayor Fords probable reelection success in 2014. but ill tell you itll cost you guys a bundle to employ the Sarah Thompsons and Adam Vaughns types that will lose their positions and will need to make a living.. looks good on you guys!
