Cancer is the second leading cause of death in children (after accidents). About 1,350 children younger than 15 years old are expected to die from cancer in 2014. I dont know of any child diagnosed with cancer or remember hearing about a child diagnosed with cancer during my childhood years when food and water were both safe to eat and drink. I was born in 47 so it was 1962 when I turned 15. Anyone else my age remember childhood cancers or was I unaware that it was as prevalent as it is today? The number above represents the number of deaths. The number diagnosed is astronomical.
