Cancer took another one of us, my favorite Auntie...she was a very courageous woman, a single mom when most were not....packed up her daughter and her life and moved across the planet to Israel....just the two of them. That planted a seed in me that grows even now....I knew I could raise children on my own, I knew I could be strong like that....and she showed me how important a favorite Auntie can be....I knew the warmth and love of that special bond and have been able to pass it along with Reilly. I will miss her, her courage, her sharp humor, her deep love....Cancer may take the bodies of my loved ones, but cancer cannot take away the lessons or the love.
