Cant do it...cannot walk in this boot the dr. gave me for the torn tendon in my ankle. Waiting for the MRI results to see if surgery is required. Its exhausting dragging this very painful foot around! The boot weighs a ton and puts me so off balance - hurts my back and hip to walk with it. I am an accident waiting to happen, Im told. Can you imagine how difficult it is to care for 50 cats and a dog like this? And my Dori is soon to undergo surgery for cancer. She and I are basically the only ones that do the work here at the sanctuary. I DESPERATELY need help - especially if I get surgery!!!!! Who can give us some time to do the dirty work? Ive been doing it every day for 11 years. Pretty much single-handedly. I NEED YOUR HELP! My doctor told me I need to stay off it and hire someone to do the work. Yeah, like I have money for that....am robbing Peter to pay Paul as the saying goes. But Peter is almost out of money!! Need a miracle or two.
