Cant remember where we were going but Swamprat was my team commd, wed stopped off to make a brew. So Wally searches for his hexy burner while I dig a hole, he puts the water into a clean mess tin(well...sort of clean) and commences to have a fag while it boils. I prepare the makings, and just as the water is about to boil he flicks his ash in it and then proceeds to pick up a bit of muck and grit and throw that in. A little perturbed I ask Wally what the @&£)? Are doing that for? His answer was (and Ill never forget it) where ever you end up in the world and your making brew, you will always end up with some crap in it so you may as well put it in yourself, that way your not dissappointed. How true he was, and I suppose it goes for a lot of things in life. Whats he up these days?
