Cant say enough about what a great race Fort4fitness puts on! I had a really rough race this morning, foot pain kicked in a mile in, I pushed thru and ignored it for as long as I could, but by mile 6 all attempts to ignore were impossible when my foot was on absolute fire, swelling in my hands and a headache set in. I slowed, adjusted my expectations and pushed thru though, it wasnt the time I wanted for the day, but I had 3 times that I very seriously considered tapping out, and Im proud that I didnt do it and stuck it out for 13.1 painful miles! Disappointed I didnt have a better race, but I can honestly say I did the absolute best I could and thats all I can ask for! And now...the couch!
