Cant shake the sadness Im feeling today. I have one dear friend really ill, and another Ive just lost suddenly. Life is too short people. Too short to hold grudges, too short to judge one another harshly (or at all), too short to do work that doesnt feed your soul, too short to stay in bad situations or relationships, too short to not be lived like you didnt have the luxury to keep squandering the hours. The one silver lining of all this sadness is the reminder of how blessed we really are, to have loved people, or been touched by their presence in your life so much that when they leave you - you grieve, and their absence, or anticipation of it, makes you hurt. Its the bitter in life that makes us not take the sweet for granted. Huge reminder today to tell those you love, those that make you smile, those that believe in you (especially the ones who do when no one else does, or did), or who get you (no matter how outspoken, how weird, how uncool, or opinionated) and love you just as you are - how much you love them back and how glad you are they are here. Lifes too short not to.
