Cape May Court House, New Jersey – Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor announced the arrest of fifty-two year old Judith Davis, of Lindenwold , New Jersey, for theft in excess of $500.00 from the Cape May County Historical and Genealogical Society located in Cape May Court House, New Jersey. A financial theft investigation was conducted by members of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, Major Crimes Unit. As a result, Davis, a Cape May County employee was arrested and charged with third degree Theft and second degree Official Misconduct criminal charges. Prosecutor Taylor advises that persons convicted of a second degree crime are subject to a term of imprisonment of 5 to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison; that persons convicted of a third degree crime are subject to a term of imprisonment of 3 to 5 years..
