Captains log Day 3 Location: The Outskirts of Nin / ?? After leaving the confined spaces of Nin I have stumbled upon what I originally sought out to find, namely the Forgotten Ruins of Nin. It is a desolate place that I first thought to be a ghost town, but before I could finish sketching the city I was overrun. I am safe, for now, but was introduced to the ancient Nin tribe and was knocked out by the Babushkas Nin-Kin warriors and brought before her. The Babushka is the highest rank of the Nin tribe and furthermore the whole tribe consists of strictly females; the pre-requisite for holding the rank of Babushka is the amount of beard you have as a female I have concluded; as she was the only one with any. It was brought to my attention that the black dish I was served when I arrived from my ship, was how they target the men which they will put on their Trials to become part of their village, and as a custom it is punishable by death to refuse. I was also told that if I REFUSE, then I will not receive my marks, or the antidote for the black spawn that is growing inside me; this makes little sense to me but my anxiety levels are rapidly rising. Pain comes and goes from my abdomen and I am constantly under watch from the Babushkas own personal elite guard known under the name Moonsorrow. When I asked about the origin of that name I was told that there was a double meaning to it, the first one being Her beauty makes the Moon weep, and the latter being She kills for the Moon. Moonsorrow served me some strange liquid before I crawled into my secluded and safely guarded hubble, whispering the words for my first trial as Trial by Wombat.... I do not know what this means yet, but looking at the walls around me I see these foreign looking creatures on the walls. God give me strength. End of Captains log
