Car and Motorbike Accident in Littlehampton The accident, which comes as the town marks National Armed Forces Day, has caused problems for motorists. Two people have been taken to hospital after an accident in Littlehampton. One is reported to have been a motorcyclist. It happened on Terminus Road, one of the main roads into the town, by the railway station. Ambulances and police were called at around quarter to nine this morning. Local residents have contacted Spirit fm to report seeing the air ambulance in action. Police are warning motorists to avoid the immediate area. They advise motorists to use the A 284 to access the town, though drivers report that is very congested. Officers say another route is the B2187 Horsham Road, which will take drivers to East Street and the seafront. Littlehampton is hosting a major National Armed Forces Day event today.
