‘Caravan of Hope’ will be an occasional travelling community - TopicsExpress

‘Caravan of Hope’ will be an occasional travelling community of the Uniting Church, that meets to grow our missional imagination, and explore how we might be and do church a bit differently. It is open to anyone with an interest in missional ideas and practice, so please forward this around to as many people as possible! Each visit will have as part of it opportunities to explore what it is that’s working, why it is working, and what are the principles involved that could be contextually relevant or important for ministry ‘back home’. Six weekend dates have been set for 2014 – we’ll be going to Goulburn, Hamilton (Newcastle) and Kippax (ACT) in the first half of the year. (More info in the brochure) With each visit there’ll be the chance to engage with the program, do some touristy stuff, and to come for some parts and not for others. Each weekend is a stand-alone event, so you can come to just one, or come to all. There is no up-front cost involved, so participants have the freedom to choose their own level of accommodation and food expenses while participating. But you do have to register so that you can get the relevant information for each visit as the time approaches. So please share this around and encourage anyone you know who is looking at new ways to be church For more information, please contact Graham Anson: Office: 02 8838 8953 Mobile: 0417 267 095 E-mail: [email protected] below are details for the first of these six weekends ..
