This position is for you if: You have a strong sales orientation Enjoy building relationships with business clients and RBC partners Are motivated by a total rewards package that recognizes your high performance (variable compensation) As a Group Consultant, you contribute to sales plans by acquiring and growing profitable Group Savings and Group Banking clients and accounts. You contribute to enhance the client experience by leveraging RBC expertise to provide solutions and advice designed to satisfy the plan sponsors’ corporate retirement plan needs. You seek out new clients by developing relationships with Commercial Account Managers, RBC DS Investment Advisors, RBC field management, Branch partners and Centres of Influence in the community. 60% of your time is allocated to lead generation and 40% to sales activation. Key Accountabilities: Proven success as a proficient sales person within RBC. Familiar with group products and retirement options. Strong prospecting, networking and business development skills. Demonstrated sales success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. Action-oriented business acumen and creativity. Independent and entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to self-manage to achieve plan. Excellent presentation, communication, time management and organizational skills. Good computer skills.
