Career opportunities at NUWC The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport is seeking recent graduates in the area of human resources. Positions are available in Employee Relations Office and the Workforce Operations Branch. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport is the Navy’s full spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support center for submarine warfare and many other systems associated with undersea battlespace. Division Newport provides the technical foundation that enables the conceptualization, research, development, fielding, modernization, and maintenance of systems that ensure our Navy’s undersea superiority. KEY REQUIREMENTS: • You must be a U.S. Citizen • Must be registered for Selective Service • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period • Must obtain and maintain a security clearance • You must provide a copy of your transcripts with your resume • If you are claiming veteran’s preference, you must attach supporting documents To be eligible for the Pathways Recent Graduates Program, an individual must, within the previous two years, have completed a qualifying associates, bachelor’s, master’s, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution. Preference eligible veterans who were precluded from applying due to their military service obligation begin their two-year eligibility period upon release or discharge from active duty. Applications will also be accepted from students who expect to complete qualifying education up to nine months prior to the closing date of the job opportunity announcements.
