Carol and I just spent 9 hours in the Lander Hospital getting Gayle ready to go to gall bladder surgery tomorrow. Craig and Carol took her over last night and they decided she had Helicobacter pylori (a bug in the gut) so gave her a prescription for antibiotics and sent her home. They got home about 3:00 this morning. She was still in a lot of pain this morning so I called the doctor and she said that if she was still in that much pain, we needed to take her back to the ER. Finally, this evening, they decided to keep her overnight and do gallbladder surgery tomorrow. They gave her morphine all day, but it didnt seem to help for very long. Tonight she was running a temperature so they put her on antibiotics IV and set her up for tomorrow. Well see how tomorrow goes.
