Carolina has started her blood transfusion. It will take about 3 hours to complete. She cant wait to feel better. Early this morning, Carolina woke up with a fever of 101 in one ear, and 100.8. in the other ear. A fever of 101 or higher, with her ANC (immune system) being 0, would put her in the hospital. The only other time this happened, we were in the hospital for 4 days. Carolina immediately started crying. She does not want to spend Christmas in the hospital. I reminded her that God has a plan, and He makes no mistakes. His plan is not always fun, but it is always for our good. There may be a reason that God wants us in the hospital on Christmas Day. I told her that we would pray and ask God to take her fever away. We prayed for God to do His plan, and give Carolina and us the strength and grace to carry it out. After praying with her, I looked at all the money and gift cards that had been donated for the kids and families that will be receiving treatment on Christmas Day. I thought, God, what are you doing? We are supposed to be going shopping this afternoon. Now Carolina may be in the hospital. The peace that my God provides is ridiculous! It was telling me, I got this! Go to sleep and let me work. So we did. I am happy to report that Carolina currently has a temperature of 98.8. My God is an awesome God! He is a BIG God, and He does BIG things. Keep praying! BELIEVE!!
