Carpenter Engineering, LLC is pleased to share a recent project we completed for a non-profit program that provides homes for retired veterans, Homes for Troops. In this project, the design is for a home that will be provided at no cost to a double amputee veteran. The completed homes are filled with amenities to provide an easier lifestyle, such as wider door frames, push button door openers, wheel chair accessible cabinetry, etc. The site location, building and lot was designed to promote use of the outdoors and is situated adjacent to Boy Scouts of America Camp Horseshoe.
