Carson and I went and watched the Perkins kindergartens play basketball tonight. After we got home Kylie Renee asked who won and I said dont you remember you all win at that age. Apparently my child is a true competitor because she had a freak out! You mean to tell me we ALL won and nobody lost and you lied to me! This got me thinking about when we had sports when I was a kid we didnt ALL win we had the winning team and we had the losing team. Thats just how it was. So I may start a debate, but Im curious about what other parents think. Should we ALL win or not? Now remember my kid is now 20 and we spent many years on a ball field from the time she was 5 on up so she did eventually experience the heartache of a loss when playing sports and she also felt that wonderful feeling of being a winner. Im just curious, because back then when she was 5 I thought I was doing the right thing, but now I see her point.
