Casa dos Lóios Boutique Guesthouse, in the selection of places to stay in Oporto by TAP magazine. This building dates back to the 16th century, but you would never guess how modern it is on the inside when looking at the façade of what is the city’s first “boutique guesthouse”. Lovingly restored, the building’s original features have been maintained, from the high ceilings painted in 18th-century style to the wooden floors. All 12 rooms have television, Wi-Fi and a combination of vintage and modern furniture. Breakfast can be eaten in the common dining room or in the interior courtyard, which has plenty of chairs and loungers.
