Catch Dr. Leons amazing program on Sirius-XM satellite radio (Channel 126). Phenomenal intellectual. He provides a political scientist perspective. One of the unique features of his program is that it is packed with analysis!!! Rhethoric free radio. He and his guest are so cerebral, analytical as well as thought-provoking. He also has such a friendly and engaging demeanor. He is extremely polite and respectful to his radio callers so he and I encourage you to join the group discussions!!! Finally, the United Nations. If a small group of individuals had the notion of taking our country, the United States of America before the United Nations or the League of Nations, those individuals would be tagged extreme radicals, subversives, wing nuts among other deragotory slurs. Given the pitiful history of human and civil right abuses within this nation over several centuries, taking the USA before the United Nations increasingly seems substantially less outlandish or radical. To the contrary, it is a portion of a multi-prong strategy that members of the African-American community needs to embrace. Improvements and gains for African-Americans came at the hands of the cooperation of a myriad of social organizations.....The beloved alphabets (e.g. NAACP, SCLC, CORE, PUSH, SNCC).....You get the point.....Progress throughout history has NEVER resulted from the talented tenth (10%).....More likely the committed 1.5%....All hands on deck.....Join something!....Be active in something for our community....So if you encounter some folk attempting to drag the USA before the UN.....Those Negroes aint crazy....They are perfectly very, very rational and sane....From slavery, abolitionist movement, Reconstruction, Jim Crow, etc....What is strange and weird is denial about our unique REALITY as a social group. Old tactics need to remain within our arsenal. The proof is other social groups who borrow our playbook and sing our battle cry We Shall Overcome across the world. Good for them!!! Folk across the world are aware of ourstory. Many want a piece of our fights. New plus old strategies must be employed. Thought leaders like Dr. Leon motivate and encourage each of us to go solo if necessary. Begin inside our living rooms. Spread to our front yards and blocks to span eventually throughout our neighborhoods. God bless Dr. Leons Prescription, the author, producer, their families, and associates!!!! Much needed.
