Tuesday 4th November 2014 ~ St Charles Borromeo, bishop (O) Phil 2:5-11; Psalm 21:26-32; Luke 14:15-24 A GREAT BANQUET The model for Christian conduct is Jesus Christ, who, though was Son of God, humbled Himself, became servant and was obedient to the point of dying, not an ordinary death but the most shameful death on the cross. Jesus life here on earth, therefore, traces the right path which Christians who live in Christ ought to follow; they cannot have other ideas or sentiments than those of Christ when it comes to living their life. Christians need to imitate the example left by Jesus and exhibit the same type of spirit and attitude to live their life here on earth because it is the way that leads to the glorious life in the next world. ~ Reflection of Gospel of Luke 14:15-24
