Caught two movies this past week. The first I bought from Wal-Mart-Bushido Man. Its basic premise was a man trying to master all the deadly arts by challenging the best of the best in each. The whole movie is based on flashbacks as he tells his master of each encounter. The fighting is top notch. There is very little wire work and none of the usual cut-away techniques we see in Western films. Most of the fighters can really fight. What they cant do is act. And thats the downfall of this film. If all you want is a great action film with absolutely no depth, this movie is for you. But if you want something more from your movies, you will be disappointed.
