Cautiously treading the fight for the big C, our Angel heart have to be somewhat rested to give it time to heal. The chemo or infection might have affected her heart function. Today is her 4th day intubated and sedated to reduce cardiac/heart stress. This is HIS plan. As I stand overlooking the lake Michigan and seeing only the lake/horizon as far as my eyes can see, it reminds me that as a dad of my little girl, my vision is limited. I can not see past my self limitation. I have to put the complete faith that beyond humanly possible HIS will always prevail. And future will be grandier. As a nurse and a dad, the feeling is so surreal. Looking at Angel, the ever dynamic, vibrant and fun loving kid, under deep sleep and a bunch of wires, tubes, monitors is like a nightmare. I wish somebody wakes me up and tells me that this is not happening to my own little one. I have cared for this kind of patients and never imagine that I ll be standing right beside to my critically ill child. We leave our worries to HIM. As Angel said before it gonna be tough with my chemo but Ill be back.
