Cedar County Sheriffs Office Calls April 14th, through April 20th, 2014 April 14th A Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy arrested Robert M. Molder of Humansville on a Cedar County warrant issued for murder in the first degree, armed criminal action, and the unlawful possession of a firearm. A motor vehicle crash was reported on South street in front of the Cedar County Court house. The crash involved two vehicles with no injuries. A Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy and a Citizens Memorial ambulance crew responded to the scene. Megan Rae Turner of Vancouver Washington was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy for driving while suspended/revoked. Shane Vernon Hill of Lee Summit was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy on a Cedar County warrant for failure to appear on two controlled substance charges. Cedar County Sheriffs Deputies assisted a St. Clair County Sheriffs Deputy on a traffic stop. A report of domestic violence was received from 604 Owen Mill road in Stockton. Cedar County Sheriffs Deputies went to the scene. Kati M. Burres of Stockton was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy for third degree domestic assault. April 15th A report of horses out at 13575 E. 1120 road in Stockton was received. The reporting party stated his neighbors horses were out on his property. A Cedar County Sheriffs Communications Officer contacted the owner. A report of a cow out on EE highway in El Dorado Springs. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was advised. April 16th Cedar County Sheriffs Deputies responded to 2998 E 350 road after receiving a report of property damage. The reporting party stated their front door to their business had been broke out. Cedar County Sheriffs Deputies performed a search warrant at 509 South Forrest St. in El Dorado Springs. The search revealed several items that were tied to area thefts. Cedar County Sheriffs Deputies arrested Michael Thomas Phillips for three counts of second degree burglary, and three counts of class A misdemeanor theft. Christopher M. Bailey of Humansville was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy for a warrant out of Vernon County and assault in the first degree. April 17th A report of an animal in the road way at the intersections of J and N highway in Stockton was received. The reporting party stated a big black cow was standing in the roadway. A Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy went to the scene. A report of two dogs killing chickens was received. The reporting party stated two dogs had come onto her property and killed all of her chickens then ran off into the woods. Cedar County Sheriffs Deputies went to the scene and took a report. A report was received of trash that had been dumped next to the steel bridge on 1620 road. Advised the Missouri Conservation office of the trash. A report of horses being in the roadway on K highway were received. A Cedar County Sheriffs Communications Officer was able to contact the owners of the horses. A report of a grass fire at 17025 South 2025 road in Fairplay endangering structures was received. Stockton Fire units were requested to the scene. Daniel R. Hamilton of El Dorado Springs was arrested on a Dade County warrant for obstruction. April 18th Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper was advised of a one vehicle motor crash without injury. The reporting party stated that he drove through someones fence to avoid hitting another car. April 19th Tanner Joseph Newman of Fairplay was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy on a Polk County warrant that was issued for a seat belt violation and speeding. Cassandra Jean Robison of Springfield was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy on a Vernon County warrant that was issued for failure to appear on charges of failure to register a motor vehicle and front seat passenger failure to wear a seat belt. Michael Robert Watts of Stockton was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy for driving while revoked. A report of domestic violence was received from 14980 Orleans trail in Stockton. The reporting party stated her husband had hit her and tore up their land lords property. Cedar County Sheriffs Deputies went to the scene. Darrell Duane Shaw of Stockton was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy for third degree assault. A report of horses out in the road way on highway 32 in Stockton was received. A Cedar County Sheriffs Communications Officer contacted the Missouri State Highway Patrol and informed them of the horses and their location. A report of a motor vehicle crash on highway CC in Stockton was received. The crash involved one motorcycle with injury. A Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy and a A Citizens Memorial Ambulance crew was requested to the scene. A report of horses in the road way at 700 road and U highway in Stockton was received. A Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy went to the scene and handled the incident. April 20th Stephen Scott Appel of Elkland was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy on a warrant out of Dade County for failure to appear on charges of driving while revoked. Samantha Marie Dey of Greenfield was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy for driving while intoxicated, drug paraphernalia, and failing to maintain right half of roadway. James Chambers of Fairplay was arrested by a Cedar County Sheriffs Deputy for probation violation.
