Celebrating a few days late here... October 12 marked the 12th anniversary of my marriage to Dave (non Facebooking) Freeman. As with many couples, weve experienced a lot over the years together-great challenges and great joys. The greatest thing about it all is that Ive had this person in my life who doesnt have to be exactly like me to love me. A person who appreciates me and who I appreciate back. This fall we are doing a 1/2 marathon together and I know he could leave me in the dust after mile one but when we finish or if we finish together doesnt matter. Im just so happy to have him running beside me next month, helping to raise funds for one of our favorite organizations, The Cupcake Girls. Challenging each other to be better people, caring about causes together and changing the world through the actions we take is what really matters. Were looking for 18 more friends to help us reach our fundraising goal and donate $35.
