Celebrating a great week. I am so thankful for those who help us help others encounter Jesus that I wanted to share with you what Jesus has done this week: 1. Tues… Aug 5… Conducted Power Lunch at Kentucky Baptist Building. I shared a message: “How To Keep From Being a Loser”. Touched many business leaders. 2. Wed… Aug 6… Promise of Hope launched a new initiative. We fed lunch to the faculty and administrators at Wilt Elementary School in Louisville, KY. Taught on “How to Be the Best Teacher You Can Be” for in service training. We had 8 teachers accept Jesus as their Savior. 3. Thurs… Aug 7… I spoke to messengers from about 20 churches at the Gasper River Association and challenged them to embrace our “Tell Your Story” campaign to tell someone everyday the story of their encounter with Jesus. They committed to tripling the number of people next year that they reach for Jesus. 4. Sat… Aug 9… We conducted a wild game dinner for the Oldham-Trimble Baptist Association in Buckner, KY. We had 38 unchurched people accept Jesus, including 3 entire families as well as a father and son that Janice and I invited. 5. Sun.. Aug 10… I spoke at the Sunday AM service at Buckner Baptist Church. 4 individuals accepted Jesus, including a family that began attending church when their daughter was diagnosed with cancer. The altar was filled with people committed to telling the story of their encounter with Jesus. God is moving. Thank you for your prayers and support.
