Celmore Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer & Web developer. Requirements - A passionate developer with a BS or MS in a computer-related or hard science field with knowledge and experience in developing algorithms. - Comfortable with fast-paced, informal environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for quality is set high. - Detail-oriented, methodical, perfectionist, and capable to meet hard deadlines - Strong analytical mind and excited about solving problems with intricate algorithms - Experienced with development of robust and scalable relational & non-relational databases, MySQL preferred. - Strong knowledge of scripting languages and frameworks/libraries of data mining and information extraction from large bulk of data (e.g. in Python, SQL, Java, C++) - Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and good communication skills. Responsibilities - Development of analytics technologies within the company, which will involve liaison with the CEO/MD, CTO and customer interaction to understand their needs over different timeframes and perform road-mapping accordingly. - Development of the requirements for improving the databases. - Liaising with team to assist further development of the database to improve scalability. - Responsible for algorithm design and live tests. - Responsible for implementation within the context of our production system. - Responsible for release of the system in conjunction with the other team members. - Responsible for performing ad-hoc analytics in some cases in response to customer requests and/or requests driven by internal curiosity. - Responsible for database development & management. - Delivery of written output or liaise with marketing personnel on observations from analysis (blog posts, customer reports etc.) - Generate innovative methods and solutions to contribute to the new system. - Contribution to ways for improving performance, simplify interactions, and automating management for better consumption.
