Center for Visual Art EMERGING ARTIST GALLERY Call for Entry The Center for Visual Art’s Emerging Artist Gallery and the Aurora Cultural Arts District, in collaboration with the Athena Project’s annual festival, are pleased to announce a call for entry for this year’s festival art exhibition entitled Truth & Perception. We are seeking emerging women artists who address the notion of truth & perception in their artwork. Please submit photo-based work that is specific to this theme. Other artists and theorists working within this theme are Judith Butler, bell hooks and Adrian Piper. There will be two coinciding exhibitions, one at CVA’s Emerging Artist Gallery, and the other at the Aurora Cultural Arts District. Submissions will be considered for both exhibitions.
