Central Information Secretary PTI, Shireen Mazari, expressed amusement and surprise at Information Minister Pervaiz Rashids strange outburst against Imran Khan. Clearly, the Minister seems to have lost his marbles after being unnerved by the success of the PTIs call for NATO supplies blockade. Mazari said his accusatory tirade against Khan, who is not only leader of the second largest party in the country, but also Parliamentary leader of his Party, is not only unethical but also breach of privilege of a member of Parliament - issuing threats without provocation or substance. Mazari pointed out that ironically Imran Khan is acting on policies that the PMLN also committed to during the 2013 General Elections as reflected in the repeated promises by the Sharifs to halt drones on coming to power. Unlike PTI, the PMLN seems to have silently backtracked on all its electoral commitments, which has now pushed Pervaiz Rasheed over the edge. We hope and pray he recovers his equilibrium and sanity as soon as possible, Mazari concluded.
