Central Pennsylvania’s critically acclaimed Susquehanna Chorale, directed by award-winning conductor Linda L. Tedford, the ensemble’s founder and artistic director, will perform at the Mt. Gretna Tabernacle on August 18, 2013. The program will offer a mix of styles that explore the journey of new life and rebirth. Concert program The concert, titled “Music for a Summer’s Evening” will feature selections such as Mendelssohn’s “Denn er hat seinen Englen befohlen” and Pachelbel’s “Nun danket alle Gott”; Carly Simon’s soulful “Let the River Run”; “Ubi Caritas” and “The Ground” by acclaimed contemporary composer Ola Gjeilo; and “When the Saints Go Marching In,” sung with the audience. The performance will take place on Sunday, August 18 at7:000 p.m., Tabernacle, Third and Glossbrenner Avenue, Mt. Gretna, PA.
