#Central_Bank sells #USD to exchange institutions with 173.27 SYP Sep 01, 2013 #Damascus, (#SANA) - Central Bank of Syria on Sunday sold a quantity of foreign currency to the exchange institutions to cover the needs of the market with 173.27 SYP against 1 dollar to be sold to citizens with 175 SYP. The Bank reiterated its continuation to interfere in the foreign currency market to preserve the exchange rate at acceptable level and prevent the speculative operations on the exchange rate of the Syrian pound. The Bank pointed out that 9 exchange institutions attended the session.
