Ch. Benever Garden Party Danzig 11/18/2000-11/7/2014 A week ago I lost a darling little lady who had become quite special to me and my grandchildren. Some of you may have read about, and some of you have met, Crystal, the Cardigan Corgi who came to live with me when her former owner, a WWII veteran, could no longer care for her. Though she was with us for just five months, I cant imagine loving her any more than we did, and there is a huge hole in my heart just now...............Crystal enjoyed her time with us, strolling around the yard with me, basking in the attention from my grandkids, visiting with her friends at the shows, and my memories of her trotting (sort of) across the yard toward me, with a corgi smile on her face, will stay with me forever. Special thanks to my vet, Dr. Craig Metzner, for taking the time, as I was recovering from my surgery, to bring Crystal home to me so that I could wrap my arms around her as she crossed the bridge.......................I appreciate it more than youll ever know.........................rest well, Crystal; you were a special one........
