Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani has called for a statewide shutdown on Sunday against clashes in Kishtwar town of Jammu and Kashmir. “After monitoring the situation in Kishtwar and rest of the Jammu province and keeping in view the present position in the town where strict curfew has been implemented and five hundred military and Para-military personnel have been called from Jammu to control the situation in this small town and people especially those belonging to Muslim community are being harassed and in view the gross damage to their property also, Geelani has called for statewide complete shutdown tomorrow,” a spokesman of his group Tehrik-e-Hurriyat said.
