He said that this action has no legal grounding and is simply an arbitrary move by the government to undermine democracy and free speech. Khan said the PMLN government has become so scared of the nation that it is desperately seeking to hide the daily revelations by Ary, and the media in general, of their corruption and other wrongdoings. Chairman PTI said it is shameful how brazenly the government is seeking to end democracy in Pakistan. He said muzzling the media, especially channels like Ary which are informing the public of the rampant PMLN corruption, will not save this corrupt and undemocratic PMLN government. Khan said PTI will examine its legal options to move against Pemra and the government in this regard. Khan said PTI stands firmly behind Ary in its fight against a fascistic government.
