Challenged to present 3 pieces of art per day for 5 days by my amigo Craig Campbell. here are my first face studies when I began sculpting around 28 or so, applied to my interest in religious apocrypha. from a series of 4 angels representing the corresponding corners of the earth and elements depending on which source of elemental associations you subscribe to: Michael/ south/ Fire, Raphael/ North/Air, Uriel/ east/ Earth.
