Challenging the core in the Sagittal plane with a Frontal plane movement base to try and encourage thoracic and cervical extension in a variety of potentially unfamiliar or intrinsically unfavourable movements in order to try and make it stick...as you can see my client, Danny, is driving his head forwards to reduce relative extension felt through the cervical and thoracic.. he is fine when Sagittal is paired with Sagittal but I want to encourage the same extension capabilities with frontal and/or transverse planes movement patterns and exercises!
