Chamber News Feed: Morris County, NJ: (MORRISTOWN, NJ) A Morristown man and a Roselle man have admitted running a major cocaine distribution operation in Morristown. Jhana Wilfong, 38, of Morristown and Jetay Hutchins, 39, of Roselle, both pleaded guilty last Friday in Superior Court in Morristown to the first-degree charge of distributing more than five ounces of cocaine, according to court records. Authorities said Wilfong, an alleged member of the Bloods street gang, processed and repackaged bulk quantities of cocaine that he obtained from Hutchins between Jan. 12, 2014 and Feb. 23, 2014 of this year. An undercover narcotics detective participated in numerous transactions and purchased more than five ounces, with a retail street value of $55,000, from Wilfong and Hutchins, according to Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp. Wilfong used an apartment in Morristown as the base of his operation and an infant child was present during “multiple drug distributions,” Knapp said. The prosecutor’s office is recommending a 13-year state prison sentence for Wilfong, which would require him to serve five years, eight months before becoming eligible for parole; and a 10-year sentence for Hutchins, with four years, 10 months of parole ineligibility. Both men are to be sentenced on Sept. 19, 2014. Your Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce Works for You!
