Chamber is in immediate need of medical attention! This approximately 8 yr old boy came in as a stray. He had terrible chemical burns to his ears, and a broken leg from trauma. He was taken to the vet by Animal Control and given a cast and antibiotics. He has been at the shelter close to a month now and his ears are still horrible and because of the holes in the plastic bag around his cast liquid etc. is getting trapped at the bottom and keeping his paw wet. The shelter workers gave him the antibiotic and topical ointment everyday, but it seems he is not improving. We would like to get him in for a wellness check, a re casting, an x-ray on that leg if needed, and whatever treatment is needed for his poor ears. Chamber feels like poo and it is obvious. If everyone could donate $5.00 (just think of it as skipping a fast food lunch or a few cups of coffee out), we should be able to easily come up with enough to help out poor Chamber. We have a goal of $300.00 (if we have an overage of funds we will use it on the next shelter pet in dyer need of medical care). If there is more work to be done then we will reassess that after his visit. We would really like to get him in to see the vet as soon as possible.
