Chance or Destiny ...Part 4 continues... .......These three guys came in through the main gate,swift and calculated movements,they passed Kran kran and i noticed that he turned back to look at them ,probably disappointed that they actually passed him without shaking him which he was used to. They moved quickly towards the SUB with their hands in their pockets,i could pick out their faces and they did not look familiar, i didnt really know all the students on campus but at least i would have come across them if they were from my school. Importees!!! no doubt....that was the word used for students that come from other schools to carry out a HIT.From rumours on campus ,i knew the Eiye confraternity and the Mafias have been at loggerheads for a while but at that point i couldnt wrap my head around their mission. Then it hit me!!!!.........Makanaky!!!!!!! Makanaky had to be the target,he was like Eiye confraternity numero uno,as soon as i realised this.I saw these 3 guys split up,each o f them went to 3 different exits and from my mental calculation,they made a hash of it because the SUB had 4 exits.Their intel was wrong.I also heard from the grapevine that there was suppose to be a kind of peace talk,then that explained why Makanaky showed up in school that fateful day. I took all this in within moments, maybe the Hadley chase i was reading had actually made my mind alert to stuffs like this,i never could really tell. U sabi those boys?.........i turned to ask Simpori,i could see he had his eyes on them too. I no sabi dem o,maybe dem find babe come.....he replied na for SUB dem go come find babe go? abi u don smoke igbo?....i retorted angrily. Jojo abeg free me,no finish the cigar now..... Angrily i gave him the remaining cigarette ,no use arguing with him,he was probably too high to comprehend. I was tensed ,i knew something was going down but i did not want to panic,i controlled my breath and took short fast intakes. All of a sudden ,i heard shouts coming from the SUB ,arguments kind of shouts,i stood up immediately. abi dem don dey fight for SUB?.....Simpori asked nobody in particular. I gave him a caustic look. guy,e be like say igbo dey worry you,na go i dey so....i had had enough of Simpori.. KPAU!!!!.........i heard the first shot All the while that i thought Simpori was high,little did i know that his highness was recoiled potential energy.We both heard the gunshot at the same time but his reaction time was 10 times faster than my own,while my brain was still figuring out the best way to take,Simpori brain went into overdrive. From physics,light should be faster than sound i guess,well that day Simpori was faster than both light and sound. He zoomed past me before i could react,as i gathered my strength to boost my speed, i looked towards the last unguarded exit ,.......and ..then at that very moment ..........i saw Makanaky..............
