Change Marriage and Divorce - Woman Worthy Nothing The law should contain a clause whereby, “any person entering into a marriage arrangement of any type should consent to share property s/he found with the other spouse”. Uganda society is entering into a very dangerous phase - where social relations are presaged on monetary function. The situation is already bad and if the law will be using such lacuna then society is finished before it starts. The English law when it comes to social conventions specifically marriage and children it gets lost. The law is too mechanistic I am surprised that some UAH members fall for this flaw in the law. The question is, has Olive made no riches over the 30 year period with or without the knowledge of her estranged husband. Or let us change the question and ask all Olive is worthy is what Kigongo has in his businesses. Olive for many years is the head of Uganda Chambers of Commerce. - How does Kigongo share in her riches? How does the public court know that Olive never made any money or that what she has, is all what she made for the husband? How does the law reconcile such facts? Kasiwukira’s wife used 30 million to murder her husband.
