Change happens in many ways. Rallying helps, because it raises awareness and gets people inspired to be involved in the work to be done. What is the work beyond the rallies and protests? We MUST organize. It will take work to change laws and policies...work that is not done on social media... work that is not as easy as grabbing a sign and protesting. Im hopeful that we can make real, lasting changes. First, we need to be clear about what we think justice looks like. Im ready to move forward, and Ill help speak for what we want. Im ready to send letters to governmental leadership, to set up meetings, to make phone callS, etc. So lets get it started! Comment below and tell me what you think should happen in Ferguson. What would justice look like to you? Please avoid disagreeing with other peoples ideas. Please avoid saying vague, unhelpful things like Kill the bastard! This is a brainstorm... a way to see what our main concerns are... information I can use to articulate what we truly want. If we cant speak intelligently about what we want, we cant expect anyone to take our needs seriously. We will be heard, because our voices matter! Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this issue.
