Change you mood... Many times we go about our daily routine and come across some undesirable situations. Sometimes these situations send us into a grumpy mood; they just piss us off (LOL). What can we do about it? 1. YOU CANNOT CHANGE EVERYTHING! Release the need to control these situations. It is unlikely that you are able to change what just happened or what is going to happen. 2. Change your current thinking about lifes situations. When you change your thoughts (ones that you believe to be true) your emotions change - your mood changes. You can do this by re-evaluating the situation; redirecting your focus to more balanced and realistic and compassionate thoughts. Remind yourself that People are doing the best they can do at every moment; given their current circumstances. I don;t know what others are going through and perhaps they need patience from me at this moment - just like I may need patience from others at times. We are all the same at heart - we just want to live better lives. Everyone is just like me - they are trying their best and sometimes accidents happen. etc... When you pay attention to your moods - you can use the negative ones as the trigger to change your approach instead of staying in a negative mindset. Dont get mad at yourself for having any thoughts - just view them as passing and temporary. You can always change your thinking by refocusing on something different. It may take some practice and patience and daily work. Give it a try!
