Changes at Internal Medicine Associates Dr. Rich Leaving Practice, New Clinic Manager Named Scott Rich, MD, who has been with Internal Medicine Associates in Delta for 12 years, has announced he has accepted a position as a hospitalist with St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. His last day with Internal Medicine Associates is January 30th. He is leaving with his fondest wishes and memories for the internal medicine clinic and Delta County Memorial Hospital. In the meantime, DCMH administration is working diligently to locate an internal medicine physician to take over Dr. Rich’s patient load. Internal Medicine Associates is also seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to help the remaining physicians with this very popular and busy clinic. Other board certified internal medicine physicians in the practice include: Hugh Comer, MD; Jeffrey Berkosky, MD; Dolly Lent, MD and Jarred Freese, MD. In other recent news at the clinic, Tamara Pearce, receptionist has accepted a promotion to Clinic Manager of Internal Medicine Associates. Jan McCracken, former clinic manager has been promoted to Clinics Director over 10 clinics owned and operated by DCMH. Pearce has worked at the internal medicine clinic in Delta for the past six years as a receptionist and file clerk. Prior to that time she worked as a receptionist at the North Fork Clinics for four years. Pearce also has a business office background working in the medical field since 1990.
