Once upon a time Arnaud comes back home from a very magical evening with a lot of very magical drinks in his belly, sits at his piano and writes some very magical chords that later became the song known as Kelly. The song talks about the journey of a young girl fighting her inner demons to realise that the one she was fighting all along was herself. Last year we set sail to Norway to illustrate this odyssey with Mona as the vessel of the story and with Miyazakis Mononoke as well as Zeldas Majoras Mask as inspirations. Having seen photographs of the amazing Preikestolen earlier, we had decided that we had, somehow, to play on top of it. This was no easy task. After 20 hours of driving we made the 3 hours long and extremely steep climb with a full drum kit, guitars, keyboard (and stand), camera gear (with a crane) and our personal items. I remember crying from exhaustion at the peak. Keep in mind that this is one of the most visited spots in Norway, so to avoid tourists we decided to sleep on the rock itself (mere meters from the 600meters vertical drop), and without tents (see picture: i.imgur/2rup3D5.jpg). We then got up at 5am, set everything up and shot for a few hours. Check the result at the end of the music video...
